SCENE 1 In the morning, Baby Bear reveals Telly has slept over last night and now they are about to have breakfast. Papa Bear has prepared a special meal for Telly’s presence. But, Telly points out the meal looks like ordinary porridge. However, it’s Papa Bear’s famous honey porridge. Papa Bear explains to them that bears love honey because of instinct and tells them about his great-grandfather Jedediah Bear, who’d climb trees to get honey from beehives. Telly thinks he may not like the porridge because he’s not a bear, but tries it anyway and loves it!
