Sure enough, they start getting plenty of customers. Verne decides to change their name to the "Readers and Writers of the Open Range" and they head off to solve another problem.

Verne and the monsters help out by singing "Write Your Name," as the rest of the street residents demonstrate how they write their names (including Maria, Big Bird, Rosita, Bob, Kingston, Susan, Linda, Ruthie, The Count, Tarah, Oscar, Mr. Handford, Elmo, Gina, Snuffy, Luis, Celina, Slimey, Gordon, Lexine, Prairie Dawn, and Carlo). Thanks to the song, Andrew can write his name with ease.
