SCENE 1 | Maria is fixing the toaster of the Fairy Godmother. Maria finds it odd that she doesn't just fix it with magic; the Fairy Godmother replies that she only uses it for special occasions. For instance, she uses it right now to poof up her to-do list (without it, she'd be utterly lost with her priorities). Maria goes inside to work on it, while the Godmother goes off to do her errands.
SCENE 1 cont'd | Big Bird walks by and notices her wand is left on the worktable. He assumes it's a toy belonging to Gabi and decides to keep watch of it, noticing how busy Maria is inside. He comes up with a spell for "a monster of a party" for Maria, when suddenly, some monsters (Julianne Buescher and Joey Mazzarino) appear in the Fix-It Shop and the whole store is turned into a party. Maria is confused and Big Bird, unaware that the spell actually worked, goes off.
