	SCENE 1	Mrs. Figueroa, Maria's mother from Puerto Rico, is making a return visit to Sesame Street. Big Bird explains that they will be discussing Maria's latest trip to the maternity clinic, which Luis has documented down to every last detail with his photo camera. They sit down in the yard as Big Bird recognizes the first photo is before the trip to the doctor's office...
	SCENE 1 cont'd	In flashback we see how trigger-happy Luis can be with a camera, snapping pictures of Maria and Big Bird just for fun. He's also good at planning ahead and shows off the list he's prepared. Big Bird wonders why he's bringing a camera (with plenty of extra film) for their trip, and Luis reveals that today will be the first time any of them will see a picture of the baby from inside Maria. Maria tries to get them to hurry up, but Luis wants to get yet another picture.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	Back in the present, Mrs. Figueroa comes to a strange picture of Big Bird and Maria holding up their arms and yelling; Big Bird says that's the picture of them missing their bus.

	SCENE 2	While continuing to look at the pictures, Mrs. Figueroa asks if they finally got to see the baby. Luis tries to talk, but Big Bird chimes in wanting to go over every detail, and the scene dissolves to another flashback...
	SCENE 2 cont'd	Big Bird, Luis, and Maria arrive at the maternity clinic, and Luis seizes the opportunity to get a picture of the nurse, then of them sitting in the waiting room. Big Bird thinks that maybe telling him a story would suppress his urge to take so many pictures, but such is not the case as he wants a picture of Big Bird telling his story. Maria feels the baby move, which gives Big Bird the idea to continue telling his story to her tummy.
	SCENE 2 cont'd	Back in the present, Mrs. Figueroa sees the picture Luis took of Maria after the baby moved. "Well, it's hard to tell that it's moving in that shot," Luis remarks, getting strange looks from everyone.

	Muppets	While Ernie is away visiting the Count, Bert has the place all to himself, or so he thinks! A group of sheep burst into the room and proceed to sing him a song ("Bert's Blanket") about how his blanket was made (with a flashback scene where Ernie is portrayed as a farmer). 	SCENE 3 cont'd	In the next flashback, Dr. Kapi calls Luis and Big Bird in and explains to Big Bird about the ultrasound machine, a special device that allows the baby to be seen on a small TV monitor. She turns the machine on and points out its parts on the monitor. Big Bird finds it odd that Luis hasn't taken a picture in a while, and Luis starts snapping away. At this point, Dr. Kapi refers to the baby as a male, even though its gender is unknown.
	SCENE 3 cont'd	In the present, Mrs. Figueroa gives Luis a hug and a kiss for taking a picture of her grandchild.

	SCENE 4	Mrs. Figueroa has a surprise for her soon-to-be-born grandchild: the blanket that Maria used when she was a baby, which has an image of a little girl on it. In song, Mrs. Figueroa expresses how proud she is that "My Baby's Going to Have a Baby." Maria wonders what to do with the blanket if the baby is a boy. Mrs. Figueroa has planned for that and takes out the blanket Maria's brother had as a baby, with a boy illustrated on it.

	Cast	The Heartstrongs, Part 1 In this soap opera parody, Mr. Heartstrong (Gordon) fusses over the loss of his red shoelace along with Mrs. Heartstrong (Susan). They both feel sad until their son Barnaby (David) comes downstairs! What a surprise! But that feeling doesn't last long, as he soon learns of the lost shoelace. As it turns out, he came downstairs to change shoelaces in order to play baseball. Could this be a clue to the whereabouts of Mr. Heartstrong's lost one? (First: Episode 2163)

	Cast	The Heartstrongs, Part 2 In the thrilling conclusion, the doorbell rings! Who could it be at the door? It's Cousin Henry (Uncle Wally), who drops in for a surprise visit, which quickly becomes somber when the lost shoelace issue is brought up again. Just then, Mr. Heartstrong remembers what Barnaby said about a shoelace that didn't match, and as luck would have it, the missing one is in his left sneaker! This makes everyone happy! Cousin Henry pulls the snake-in-the-can trick on Barnaby, which gives everyone another nice surprise! "Woo woo!" (First: Episode 2163)

	SCENE 5	Snuffy approaches Maria and Mrs. Figueroa with a problem - Alice won't go to sleep. Mrs. Figueroa has a solution in the form of a lullaby she used to sing to Maria, "Duermete, Mi Niña." Though the song doesn't work on Alice, it does on Snuffy, who peacefully sleeps nearby.

Notes

• In the Japanese broadcast of this episode, the scene where Mrs. Figueroa sings to Alice in Spanish was replaced by Swamp Mushy Muddy, a buffalo cartoon, and a "T - Typewriter" cartoon where a red figure jumps on typewriter keys.
