SCENE 1

The Grouchytowners (Otto, Velma, and Worby) arrive, and Oscar makes sure that they've planned for niceness. They've got their sunglasses in case of smiling faces and nose plugs so they won't smell any fresh foods baking, but Worby doesn't have his helmet to protect his head from being patted. Just then, they see Bob and Maria smiling and waving to Mrs. Macintosh and smell Bob's vanilla ice cream cone; luckily they've prepared for these obstacles. As the Grouches walk past them, however, Bob pats Worby's bare head which upsets him.

SCENE 2 The Grouches observe Gordon having lunch in the yard. Oscar informs him that they're first-time visitors, and Velma offers him a chocolate-covered fish head. He turns it down, but offers her a bite of his turkey salad sandwich. She's disgusted by the idea at first, but Otto reminds her that one of the things about going somewhere new is to try different foods, so she samples it. She finds it repulsive, but Otto thinks she's brave and takes pictures of them (and Gina) with the food.
