	SCENE 1	It's a chilly morning on Sesame Street and Maria freezes as she waits for David. Oscar, looking to start an argument, acts like it's hot. Maria catches wise and convinces David to agree with Oscar. He sees that if he disagrees with David, he'll be agreeing with Maria (and vice verse). He decides to take a middle route and say it's perfect outside. David and Maria are amazed at him using such terminology and Oscar sheepishly slinks into his can.

	SCENE 4	Maria needs a bolt to finish fixing a wagon, but can't find one in her toolbox. She thinks she can find one within Oscar's trash pile. Oscar lets her have one, but only in exchange for her ratty-looking (yet comfortable) sneakers. Maria isn't happy with parting with them, but does so anyway. She tiptoes past David, who quickly notices her lack of shoes. David finds this an injustice and goes to give Oscar a talking to.
