Fergus is an old, bespectacled beaver who lives in Kermit's Swamp. In the book Kermit, Save the Swamp!, Fergus breaks the news to Kermit that the swamp is going to be converted into the Swamp World shopping mall and amusement park. He is looking forward to the water slide.
