Favorite Songs from Jim Henson's Muppets is a 2-record set collecting songs from The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas, Fraggle Rock, Muppet Babies, the first three Muppet movies and the special Rocky Mountain Holiday. Though mostly a compilation album made up of material from other albums, four of the tracks (When the River Meets the Sea, My Way, Java and a new version of ABC-DEF-GHI) were exclusive to this release. Hal Leonard Publishing Company published a book of sheet music for the set, also called Favorite Songs from Jim Henson's Muppets.
