Fat Cat is a song performed on Sesame Street by Bip Bippadotta and three Anything Muppets in sunglasses. The Anything Muppets say a list of rhyming words (such as "fat," "cat," "sat," and "hat"), and then Bip interrupts with a sentence combining all of the words in a fast-paced scat, much to his companions' dismay.

Video releases

The song was included on the videos Getting Ready to Read and Bert & Ernie's Word Play, and as part of Episode 0536 on the Old School: Volume 1 DVD set. The section on words that rhyme with "ball" was included in the "Rhyme" episode of The Sesame Street Podcast.
