Farscape: The Beginning of the End of the Beginning
From Muppet Wiki
Farscape: The Beginning of the End of the Beginning is the debut Farscape comic book mini-series released by BOOM! Studios. Developed by O'Bannon and scripted by "Farscape" novelist Keith DeCandido, the artwork for the series was handled by Tommy Patterson. The four-part comic picks up immediately where the "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars" television miniseries left off. The story is followed by Strange Detractors.
The first issue was released on December 24, 2008. The initial printing featured three variant covers. Shortly after the release, BOOM! Studios announced that the first issue had completly sold out in under five days.[1] To meet demand, it was announced that Farscape #1 would receive a second printing. Farscape #2 also saw record sales and completely sold out within 7 days. Diamond Comics Distributors will make the second printing of Farscape #2; this is the first time in BOOM! Studios history where strong demand has necessitated a second printing on an issue #2.[2] The third issue also sold out in record time, and the company is planning a second printing of Farscape #3 as well (another first for the company). The second printing of Farscape #3 has an expected in-store date of April 29th.[3]
A preview of The Beginning of the End of the Beginning was made available for the iPhone through a downloadable app via The iTunes Store.
