Farley's Dad appears in the book Farley Goes to the Doctor. He takes Farley to see Dr. Rothman for his annual checkup. He remains with with him during the entire checkup, to reassure his son that going to the doctor is a routine thing for everyone, even Farley's teddy bear T.J. Bear.

He also appears in the 1980 book Show and Tell.
