"Exit" was performed by Little Chrissy and the Alphabeats in 1974 on Sesame Street.
As Chrissy explains what the sign is used for, his audience (including Grover, Cookie Monster, Bert, Guy Smiley, and Gladys the Cow) and even the Alphabeats end up abandoning the performance, exiting through the appropriately-placed door on the stage. By the song's end, Chrissy decides to leave with everyone else, but can't find the way out.
