"Everyone Matters" is first sung by Gonzo and Kermit in the Bitterman Plaza Mall in the alternate reality sequence in It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. It is later reprised by the whole cast in front of the Muppet Theater over the closing credits.

The song was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003.
