Everyone Makes Mistakes is a 1983 Sesame Street storybook featuring Big Bird.
Big Bird, who isn't watching where he's going, accidentally walks into Susan's clothesline. After knocking the laundry all over the ground, Big Bird is worried about how angry Susan will get, and attempts to think up several lies to use, such as a flock of geese knocking it down, the circus using it to practice, a runaway giraffe getting tangled up in it, the fire department accidentally running it over, a rodeo running through the yard, a tornado wreaking havoc, etc. but soon they begin to get mixed up, and Big Bird winds up telling Susan the truth. She immediately forgives Big Bird for the incident.

Little Bird was also added to the video version of the story, via reusing illustrations of the character from Big Bird and Little Bird's Big & Little Book, also illustrated by A. Delaney.
- It was also reissued with other Sesame Street books in the treasury Story Land in 1986.
