"Everybody's Song" was first performed by Bip Bippadotta and the Androoze Sisters in 1979 for the album Every Body's Record and was made into a segment for Sesame Street in the mid-1980s.
The song was later remade in 2001 by Diana Krall and Elmo, with Telly, Rosita, Zoe, Cookie Monster, Grover, Lulu and the Oinker Sisters on backup.
The song was remade again in 2004 with Gabi and Miles, with Elmo, Zoe, Telly, Rosita, and Baby Bear.
