Ernie Heeft Rommel Gemaakt (Ernie Makes a Mess) features six stories, acted out by the Sesamstraat cast. This soundtrack album for Sesamstraat, the Dutch co-production of Sesame Street, was distributed by Weton-Wesgram in 1993.

Trivia

• All the stories are based on Sesame Street books. The dialogue differs from the Dutch book translations. Another storybook album, Grover Gaat Naar School, was released around the same time.

• Big Bird is replaced by Pino. On track six, he mentions he's wearing his yellow feather suit.

• Wim T. Schippers does a few voices that he doesn't do on the show, including Cookie Monster, Herry Monster, Oscar and the American actors.

• Paul Haenen does the voice of Miepje Vlug (Prairie Dawn). On the show this is done by Hellen Huisman.

• Miepje Vlug is also known on the show as Miesje Mooi.

• The names of David, Maria and Luis are translated to Pieter, Jacqueline and Manuel.

• The stories from both storybook albums were rereleased in 2004 in a different order.
