Ernie Heeft Rommel Gemaakt (Ernie Makes A Mess) features six stories, acted out by the Sesamstraat cast. This soundtrack album for Sesamstraat, the Dutch co-production of Sesame Street, was released by Weton-Wesgram in 1993.

Trivia
- All the stories are based on Sesame Street books. The dialogue differs from the Dutch book translations. Another storybook album, Grover Gaat Naar School, was released around the same time.
- Big Bird is replaced by Pino. On track six, he mentions he's wearing his yellow feather suit.
- Wim T. Schippers does a few voices that he doesn't do on the show, including Cookie Monster, Herry Monster, Oscar and the American actors.
- Miepje Vlug is also known on the show as Miesje Mooi.
- The names of David, Maria and Luis are translated to Pieter, Jacqueline and Manuel.
- The stories from both storybook albums were rereleased in 2004 in a different order.
