Ernie & Bert Songs

Ernie & Bert Songs is a 5-minute show that aired from December 5 to December 12, 2011 on KI.KA at 17.35. The segments were included in the regular Sesamstrasse episodes in January 2012.

Each episode features a German singer with Ernie and Bert, singing one of their hits in a special Sesamstrasse version. The format has already been shown in conjuction with the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 that was held in Germany. That sketch featured Lena Meyer-Landrut with the song "Bert, oh Bert". That segment was also reused in December.

After the first six segments, the format was reworked as Ernie & Bert Märchensongs.
