Ernie & Bert Songs is a 5-minute show that will air from December 5 to December 12, 2011 on KI.KIA at 17.35. The segments will be included in the regular Sesamstrasse episodes in January 2012.
Each show features a German singer with Ernie and Bert, singing one of their hits in a special Sesamstrasse version.
The format has already been shown in conjuction with the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 that was held in Germany. That sketch featured Lena Meyer-Landrut with the song "Bert, oh Bert". That segment will be reused in December.
