This is the last episode to air in US syndication.

The Babies had previously portrayed the Peter Pan story in the episode Episode 212: By the Book in which Baby Scooter and Skeeter played Peter Pan-like twins. Kermit and Rowlf portrayed Michael and John in that episode. Baby Piggy also played Piggybelle (who in this story appears as a tiny fairy whereas she was regular size in the previous story).

In this new adaptation, Gonzo and Animal reprise their roles as Captain Hook-nose (now called "Captain Robohook", and having a robotic arm spoofing the film Robocop), and Animal Gaiter. Scooter now plays Mr. Scoot, based upon Captain Hook's lackey, Mr. Smee. The character of Wendy has been added, played by Skeeter, and Fozzie plays Michael.

Baby Bean Bunny makes an appearance as Peter Cottontail.
