| ||What's the Word on the Street?: Champion|
| ||Abby and Elmo welcome the viewer as they play Hot Potato (using an real potato). As the games pass, Elmo continuously loses, much to his frustration. He suspects it's the potato's fault and has them play the game using an especially large one, then a tiny one, losing both times. Elmo tries to have Abby move closer and pass faster, still losing. Elmo gets more and more frustrated and Abby, feeling uncomfortable, leaves for lunch.|
| ||Telly happens by and learns about Elmo's problem. He recalls when he wasn't good at hot potato, but by practicing, he has become a self-proclaimed "Hot Potato Expert." Elmo begs him to help his skills and Telly agrees. Elmo and Telly exercise and train in a Rocky-esque montage, complete with rock song ("Eye of the Potato").|
| ||Telly has taught Elmo everything he knows, so he's ready to play again. Elmo calls Abby back and they play another game of hot potato and Elmo wins! As they keep playing, Elmo continues to win and brag about his victories. His arrogance drives both Abby and Telly away ("You know what Elmo? You may be good at this game, but you don't have the eye of the potato at all.").|
| ||Leela appears, delivering laundry to Gordon and Susan, and learns of Elmo's victories and the problem with his friends. Leela, a big fan of the game, plays Elmo in the game and Elmo wins. Leela points out that winning isn't always everything and that being a good sport is more important. Elmo realizes he never considered his friends' feelings during the game and sings about his mistakes ("Elmo Didn't Mean To"), hoping his friends will take him back.|
| ||Elmo finds Abby and Telly and apologizes for the way he acted, vowing to be a good sport from now on. They forgive him and they all play a round of hot potato. Elmo loses, but shakes it off and enjoys the game.|
| ||Abby magically pulls Blake Griffin from his basketball game to talk about the word "champion." He faces against a chicken to be the chicken-call champion.|

It's "Choice Time" at the Flying Fairy School. While Gonnigan and Blogg go tot he block corner to make the largest block tower, Abby watches a new online adventure of Super Fairy, her hero. She invites her friends two watch, but they're more interested in their blocks. She magically makes Super Fairy appear in the classroom, hoping the two will appreciate Super Fairy like she does. Super Fairy appears, acting conceited and full of herself. She hands Abby an autograph, then plans to give some two Gonnigan and Blogg, but they don't even notice her. With Abby and Mrs. Sparklenose's help, Super Fairy tries to get them to like her, but ends up knocking their tower over each time. It's not until she helps them out that they decide to be friends with her.

| ||Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures is in queue, but first, it's time for the number of the day. Murray presses a large button, causing 11 flowers to appear. He presses it again and is met with a heavy likeness of the number.|

Bernice and Rubber Duckie are competing in the Bird Games, with Bert and Ernie as their respective coaches. Although Bernice is nervous, Bert is sure she'll do great. The first event is the Skwaking challenge. The third competitor, a turkey, lets out a measly gobble, Bernice lets out a quiet coo, but they both lose to Rubber Duckie's mighty squeak. The next even has them eating a bowl of birdseed. Rubber Duckie can't eat any, Bernice pecks slowly and the turkey goes all out and devours the bowl first. The final even is the Fancy Flying contest. The turkey jumps from a barn, but falls shortly after. Rubber Duckie sits the game out, leaving Bernice. Bert tries to show her how to fly, but begins to plumet. Bernice saves him and does some fancy flying. All three birds win a medal.

| ||Mr. Johnson visits "The Coffee Plant" for a cup of coffee, saddened to find Grover on duty. Grover explains they have the freshest cup of coffee in the world, dragging out a coffee bush to hand-pick the beans. Once they become coffee, Grover goes to turn some sugar cane into sugar for him, but he asks for milk instead (hoping it'll be quicker). There's no fresher milk than straight from a cow, so Grover begins milking one. The cow gulps down Johnson's coffee and the caffeine sends her into an excitable rampage.|

| || Elmo the Musical: Athlete the Musical|
Elmo imagines he's an athlete, facing off against an Enormous Athlete to win a pair of golden shoes, a coveted prize Elmo wants to win. Enormous Athlete defeats Elmo in the long jump and shot put competitions. They finally compete in the race, which give either competitor enough points to win. During the race, Enormous Athlete trips over a hurdle and falls over. Elmo considers finishing the race and winning the shoes, but instead goes back to help his competition and they tie at the finish line. Despite the tie, Enormous Athlete has a larger total, earning him the golden shoes. Velvet doesn't think it's a happy ending, but Elmo doesn't mind losing - he had fun just playing the game. He passes along the moral to Enormous Athlete, who shares the golden shoes with him.
