What's the Word on the Street?: Prickly
SCENE
At bedtime, Big Bird welcomes the viewer and shows off the new pajamas his Granny Bird send him, claiming they'll be the softest pajamas ever. Gordon comes in to tuck him in for the night. The moment Gordon heads out, Big Bird starts to feel something uncomfortable. Gordon browses the nest and pulls out a truck and, despite Big Bird always sleeping with it, leaves it out. Big Bird still feels something poking him though.

SCENE cont'd
Gordon looks again and finds the letter C in the nest, as Big Bird always sleeps with the letter of the day ("Don't you?"). Big Bird still isn't comfortable and Gordon looks again, this time finding a cactus! Gordon thinks because of his prickly spines, Big Bird can't sleep. Insulted, the cactus heads back to the desert. Gordon then finds a number 1 (the number of the day), followed by one pineapple. Gordon points out that the fruit is also prickly and she leaves for home, Hawaii.
SCENE cont'd
Although Big Bird's nest is now completely empty, he still feels uncomfortable and can't sleep. Suddenly, the Princess (from "The Princess and the Pea") arrives to offer her services, being a part-time sleep consultant. She dives into the nest and finds a pea, which she believes is preventing him from sleeping. She briefly dozes off before running off to her next client - Sleeping Beauty.
SCENE cont'd
Big Bird still feels uncomfortable, to Gordon's disbelief. Susan appears at the window, wondering what's going on. Gordon realizes that Big Bird's issue must be his new pajamas - he never took the tag off! Gordon removes the tag and Big Bird is able to sleep with comfort.

Gonnigan is woken up and chased by the team. They call on Spot, who shows them a subtraction video. They get an idea to subtract the sheep and lead each group out of the room. Super Grover 2.0: How Now Down Cow
At a beauty parlor in the city, a lady cow finds herself stuck at the top of the stairs. Super Grover 2.0 arrives on the scene and offers a solution: dancing the down the stairs! When that doesn't work, he observes the stairs and tries to get rid of them using karate, but hurts his hand instead. He dashes off and returns with a trampoline. The cow makes a leap, but is bounced right back to the top. Grover observes some more and finds the stairs are bumpy and they need to "de-bump" them. Luckily, he has his "stair de-bumpifier" (a board). He holds it up as the cow walks on it, but he collapses under her weight, making a ramp that the cow goes down on.
