SCENE
Chris serves Telly his tuna sandwich, without lettuce. Just then, a group of protesting veggies appear. Reporting for VNN (Vegetable News Network), Anderson Cucumber comes in to report on the subject. They learn that veggies are mistreated on Sesame Street and they're tired of it. The use Telly's sandwich as an example, but he tells them he's having a salad as well. The veggies are glad, when Anderson gets a report about un-eaten broccoli in Hooper's Store. Chris rushes to see what's wrong.

In the store, Zoe finishes her lunch, leaving her sides on the plate. Chris tries to get her to eat it, but she states she doesn't like broccoli, even though she's never tried it. The veggies are enraged, especially the ring-leading broccoli ("It ain't easy bein' green!"). Chris gets her to eat them by showing her "The Veggie Dance". The dances make her hungry and gives the broccoli a try; she loves it! The veggies rejoice, when Anderson gets another report about some veggies left sitting on a plate.

Chris sees the offender is Cookie Monster, who is busy devouring all the cookies in the store. Chris tries to remind him of the "sometimes food" lesson, but he states he's full, but continues to eat the cookies. The vegetables are angry, saying that there's always room for dessert and threaten to leave Sesame Street forever. Chris gets Cookie to change his mind by having him pretend the veggies are cookies. The plan works and he eats the whole plate. While the veggies cheer, Cookie tries to remind everyone he's not "The Veggie Monster", but is hushed by Chris. Just then, Telly hears some news music, which means Anderson is back with more bad news: some peas are getting mistreated in the garden. Everyone goes to inspect.

They find it's Natasha, who refuses to eat the peas Gina tries to feed her. She explains that Natasha has never had vegetables before that she can't understand them if they try to talk to her. The veggies are going to make their leave, until Chris leads everyone in a song in praise of vegetables ("We Love You Vegetables"). They notice that after the song, Natasha is gobbling up her peas. The veggies decide to stay and joint he singers. Anderson returns to sign off.

Abby's Flying Fairy School
Today for Show & Tell, Abby brings in the enchanted apple from Snow White. During snack time, Blogg takes a bite and falls into an enchanted sleep. Gonnigan and Abby try to think of how they can wake him up, when Gonnigan remembers he wakes up to the sound of an alarm clock. They go through Mrs. Sparklenose's filling cabinet and find one, but it doesn't wake Blogg up. They call Spot, who shows them videos of mouths. Abby thinks they should kiss him, but when she tries, he stays asleep. Abby checks the Snow White story and finds they need a prince to wake him. She turns Gonnigan into a frog so she can kiss him and make him into a prince. Gonnigan kisses Blogg and he wakes up, and notices the apple and heads for it, with his fairy friends tackling him.

Super Grover 2.0: How Now Down Cow
At a beauty parlor in the city, a lady cow finds herself stuck at the top of the stairs. Super Grover 2.0 arrives on the scene and offers a solution: dancing the down the stairs! When that doesn't work, he observes the stairs and tries to get rid of them using karate, but hurts his hand instead. He dashes off and returns with a trampoline. The cow makes a leap, but is bounced right back to the top. Grover observes some more and finds the stairs are bumpy and they need to "de-bump" them. Luckily, he has his "stair de-bumpifier" (a board). He holds it up as the cow walks on it, but he collapses under her weight, making a ramp that the cow goes down on.
