What's the Word on the Street?: Crunchy
Maria, Luis, Elmo and the kids pick apples from an apple tree in the garden. Cookie Monster hears the crunchy sounds being made by them and thinks cookies are being eaten. He rushes to the garden to find no cookies, just apples. He also learns that food can come from trees, as Maria and Luis explain.
The couple flashes back to after they were married, when they planted the apple tree in the garden.
Back in the present, Cookie is amazed food can grow on trees. He comes to the obvious conclusion -- he needs to plant a cookie tree!
Cookie has a pot of soil and plants a chocolate chip inside, but nothing happens. Elmo recalls what Maria and Luis said about plants β they need water and sun. They find a spot with plenty of sun and give it water. Luis finds them and breaks the bad news to Cookie: Cookies donβt grow on trees. Devastated, Cookie wishes he had a cookie tree. Abby overhears his wish and is going to grant it. She waves her wand and spins around, making cookie trees appear all over the street!
Cookie Monster tries reaching the cookies, but they are too high on the trees. Elmo tries to help him. Alan comes out from Hooper's and asks Abby to make the trees disappear, as they are blocking the doorway to the store. She tries thinking of rhymes and just as Cookie and Elmo are about to reach a cookie, the trees disappear and they fall over.
Cookie is upset that his trees are gone, but perks up when Maria and Luis bring him some cookies made from the apples they picked.
Adam Sandler tries to explain the word crunchy, but finds it hard while Cookie Monster munches on a crunchy cookie.

However, a magic lock is on it. Once unlocked (using Nibletβs horn), a hoard of Fairy Dust Bunnies are unleashed. Unfortunately, Mrs. Sparklenose is allergic to the dust bunnies and once they come in contact with her, her nose sparkles and blinks once. She sneezes and turns the students into frogs. They make up a magic word to return them back to normal (Gezundenshniffle). Her nose blinks twice now, turning them into chickens. They realize they have to say their word for every time her nose blinks to return to normal. Her nose blinks thrice and they turn into cheese and are then chased by a hungry Niblet. After returning to normal, they call on Spot, who shows them a video of a robot βunderβ various things. They see that to get the dust bunnies gone, they need to go back under the rug. They make a dust carrot and sends the dust bunnies back under. Blogg, however, is stuck cleaning up his toys.

Finally, they find a large duck egg, which means the Wise Old Duck is near. The Wise Old Duck emerges and Ernie asks the question: βWhich came first β the Duckie or the egg?β The WOD cannot think of an answer, as Bert accidentally knocks over the large duck egg and it begins to roll.
