Elmo welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street. He soon hears the sound of Snow White and her seven dwarves, looking for Sesame Street.
| |
They sing "We Are the Seven Dwarves", introduce themselves, and the dwarves count themselves up several times.
| |
One of the dwarves, Hammy, receives a call on his cell phone. He's offered the role of "breadcrumb #3" in Hansel and Gretel by his agent, and leaves.
| | |
Unfazed, the remaining dwarves sing "We Are the Seven Dwarves" again. Elmo, however, notes that there are no longer seven dwarves, and therefore the song should be altered to reference six dwarves. Although Snow White is reluctant, they change the song and count themselves up. |
| | |
At that moment, a conflict erupts between two of the dwarves: Sensitive Nose objects to the cheese in Smelly's shoes, and they both leave. The remaining dwarves sing their song, but Elmo infers that the lyrics be changed to "four dwarves." They sing once more and count themselves up. |
| | |
Of the remaining dwarves, Itchy runs home to fetch his back-scratcher, Gassy goes away to get antacid, while Vertigo leaves in need of sitting down. This leaves only one dwarf, prompting yet another lyric alteration suggestion by Elmo much to Snow White's chagrin. |
| | |
After singing about "Snow White and the one dwarf," the lone remaining dwarf falls down. Clumsy leaves, and at this point Snow White is sure that no solution will work as there is no one left to sing. Elmo, however, has an idea. |
| | |
Elmo recruits Alan and six children from Hooper's Store to act as dwarves. Although initially reluctant, Snow White goes ahead with the idea and loves it! After reciting "We Are the Seven Dwarves" Alan is ready to return to work, but Snow White instructs him to stay and sing until "happily ever after." |
