Gabi and Miles are graduating from high school. The entire cast is congregated in the arbor, where Alan and Gina take pictures of the two graduates in their caps and gowns. Elmo walks by and wonders what's going on. He can barely believe that they're finished with school, while he hasn't even started!
Gabi and Miles have a flashback to their first day of kindergarten, when Miss Walsh led the class in a recital of the alphabet song.
Gordon reminds Miles and Gabi that it's almost time to go to the graduation. Gabi, meanwhile, recalls how shy Miles was when he was first called on in class.
In another flashback, Gabi and Miles show their teacher pictures they drew in class. Gabi draws a picture of herself on the steps of her house, while Miles creates a more abstract composition. As Gabi recalls, he wasn't shy after that!
Luis reminds the graduates to go. Miles and Gabi, however, elect to stay a little longer and tell Elmo about the time they had an argument over a fire truck at school and learned to share, reinforced by a song by Miss Walsh.
Susan and Maria walk by, and Gabi and Miles finally leave for their graduation. Elmo looks forward to going to school and graduating himself.
Later on, a graduation party commences outside. Gordon and Luis express their gratitude and pride in their childrens' graduation, and Alan takes a picture. Suddenly Gordon hears a sound, and wonders if someone else is graduating as well. As it turns out, it's the graduation march of the penguins, walking past Sesame Street.
