| | Healthy Moment: Maria asks, "What is a great way to be healthy and strong?" At that moment, kids passed by on their bikes and Elmo comes in on his tricycle with the song,"Riding My Tricycle," playing in the background. | |
| |
Oscar, Grundgetta, Omagrossa and Swampy are chanting for Donald Grump. Oscar thinks he hears him coming and the Grouches get all excited.
| |
However it was Maria and the Grouches groan. When Maria asked whom they were expecting, Oscar explained that they were waiting for Donald Grump, who has the most trash of any other Grouch in the world and has his name on it.
| |
This leads to a song about “Grump” as Donald Grump emerges from his trash can.
| | When the song is finished, Donald Grump announced that he is looking for a Grouch apprentice to help sort through his trash. Not only will one of them become his helper, but they also they get to keep some of Grump's trash. Before he starts his search, he fires Omagrossa and Swampy by saying, “Scram, you’re fired” because he felt like it. Omagrossa and Swampy left the area and chase after the taxi that Donald Grump whistled for them. | |
| | At that moment, after Donald Grump comes out of his trash can, Elmo arrives because he wants to be Donald Grump’s helper. Oscar and Grundgetta disagree because Elmo is not a Grouch and also he is nice and annoying. However, Donald Grump likes that kind of helper who is annoying and lets Elmo participate. Maria thinks that Elmo should help her in the Mail It Shop, but Elmo wanted to help Donald Grump first. After that, Grump fires Maria, who leaves in a huff to the Mail-It Shop. | |
| |
In order to be the Grump’s apprentice, Oscar, Grundgetta and Elmo will have to passed his trash test. The first test is to find out how many of his rotten smelly fish can fit in a bucket. Oscar and Grundgetta are determine to win, but then they started arguing with each other on who is going to be the Grump’s apprentice. While they argued, Elmo guess that since the fish are big, 5 would fit in the bucket. He and Donald Grump count the fish as Grump puts them in the bucket and Elmo was right. Oscar and Grundgetta are surprised and told Grump that it wasn’t fair since they were arguing.
| | | Grump liked their rotten attitude that he gives them another chance. The next test is to sort his torn sneakers into two piles: one with three holes in the sneaker and one with two holes in the sneaker. Oscar and Grundgetta believe this would be easy, but then they started arguing on who is the best sneaker sorter. Elmo ends up sorting the entire pile of torn sneaker. Oscar and Grundgetta think it was unfair again since they were arguing. |
| | Grump decides to give them one last change. His last test is to find the most trash in 5 seconds. Again, Oscar and Grundgetta argued on who can find the most trash, while Elmo rushed off and found 5 trash pile. When Grump went to Oscar and Grundgetta and asked how much trash they have, they replied they have zero. | |
| |
Elmo is happy that he is the Grump’s apprentice. However, it turns out that Grump didn’t like him because he was too good and fires Elmo. On the other hand, Elmo didn’t mind because he liked to help. Grump is surprised and mentions that Elmo wouldn’t get his trash, which Elmo didn’t want in the first place. However, Elmo wanted Grump's hairpiece, which is not a real loss since he has several of them. Elmo left happily with Grump’s hairpiece to go helped Maria at the Mail-It Shop.
| | | With Oscar and Grundgetta left, Grump makes them both his helper because of their rotten attitude. But when they find out they have to helped sort through his trash, they decide not to be his helper and fired Donald Grump. Donald Grump left in a taxi with his trash, while Oscar and Grundgetta enjoy saying, “Scram, You’re Fired!” to each other. |
