 | | Maria and Luis were packing their backpacks, when Big Bird and Snuffy came by singing “A-hiking they will go.” Big Bird suddenly noticed the viewer and welcomes them to Sesame Street. He tell us that he and Snuffy are going on a hike with Maria and Luis. |
 | | Snuffy asks what is a hike and why they are doing it. Maria and Luis explain how walking is great exercise and is as well fun. Also, they are a lot of things to look for. Big Bird mentions that they might see a dancing spider along the way. Gabi comes out to say good-bye to her parents and told them she would take care of Mail It Shop, while they are gone. Now they are all ready for the hike. |
 | | Just as they are about to go, Snuffy and Big Bird were looking sad. Maria asked what was wrong and finds out that Big Bird wants to be the leader. However, Snuffy wants to be the leader as well. Luis suggested that they take turns being the leader. So Big Bird was the leader and they all sang, “A-hiking we will go.” |
 | | After a few steps, Big Bird suddenly stop and spotted a tree near the Mail-It Shop. He and Snuffy observed the tree up close and learn about the bark and leaves on the tree. Gabi noticed that they are still here. After observing the tree, Snuffy becomes the leader and leads Big Bird, Maria, and Luis on their hike as they continued singing. |
 | | After a few more steps at Hooper's Store, Snuffy stopped and said it is snack time. Maria and Luis were confused, but Snuffy explain that observing the tree was making him hungry. Big Bird agrees since food gives them energy and they can also sing the snacking song, which sounds similar to "A-hiking we will go." |

Luis gets out the snack from Maria’s backpack, which is trail mix made by Luis. The trail mix is made of raisins, granola, and sunflower seeds. Big Bird and Snuffy never had trail mix before, but they are willing to try it. After trying it, the two enjoy the trail mix. Just before Maria or Luis were about to eat some, Big Bird told them it is time to go back on their hike and this time he is leading. |
 | | After a few steps from Hooper’s Store, Big Bird stops and notice a pebble on the ground. Maria and Luis don’t find it interesting, but Big Bird and Snuffy thinks it is because it has pretty colors and is very shiny. As they are observing the pebble, Gabi notice them and replied that they are still here. Maria tells Big Bird and Snuffy that they should continue on since they are more interesting things off Sesame Street. The group says good-bye again to Gabi and continued on their way. |
 | | Big Bird suddenly stop and said it is time for a rest. Maria and Luis said that they haven’t left Sesame Street, but Big Bird said that resting is good when you feel tired. As they rest, they sing the resting song and Big Bird and Snuffy took a rest. Just as Maria and Luis were about to rest on the ground, they announced that they are done resting and are ready to go on their hike. Snuffy hopes they will see another pebble and Big Bird hopes they might see a tap dancing spider along the way. Maria doesn’t think they might see a tap dancing spider until the group heard some tap dancing. |
  | | The group goes over to a crate and sees a spider tap dancing. Luis counts its 8 legs and Maria counts its 8 tap dancing shoes. Both of them are amazed at this and Snuffy comments that was almost as exciting as the pebble. |
 | | Gabi notice the group was still here. Big Bird and Snuffy comments on how far they hiked and the great things they saw such as a pebble and a tree. Maria felt excited after seeing the tap-dancing spider that she can’t wait to see what other things they will see on their hike. However, Big Bird and Snuffy said it is time for their nap since they are tired from their hike. |
 | | Maria feels sad since she wanted to go on a hike, but Luis told her that the two of them can still go. So Luis and Maria say good-bye to Gabi and went off on their hike. They comment on what great things they might see along the way like a pebble, a tree, or an elephant doing somersaults. As they walk by Oscar's trash can, they heard crashes and elephant’s sound coming from the can. They decided it is best not to know and went off on their hike. |
