When Mokey feels her artistic popularity is overshadowed by that of a painter named Pedley Fraggle, she sets out to get it back. The Trash Heap gives her a magic paintbrush -- but it can bring great danger to anyone who uses it.

Meanwhile, Sprocket is jealous of Ned Shimmelfinney's cat Fluffinella when she beats him in Fling-and-Fetch 27 times, so he decides to go into training.

Bob Stutt performs Gunge in this episode, lip-synched to Richard Hunt's voice. He also filled in as Boober in "Junior Faces the Music."^[1]

Despite becoming friends in "The Beanbarrow, the Burden and the Bright Bouquet", Red shows hatred toward Lanford in this episode.

In one scene, Mokey refers to her baloobius, a term first used in "Scared Silly".
