SCENE
Big Bird and Rosita discuss how Rosita is going to say the alphabet with the Birdketeers. Just then, two kids come up to them, asking directions to the park. But, when Rosita tells them to look for the statue of the pigeons, they laugh at the way she pronounces pigeons. Rosita is hurt that they made fun of her accent and wishes she could talk normal.

Henry Piggins comes along, overhearing her wish and thinks he can help. He sings "The Pig is Big" to help her pronounce words in an English accent, with little success. Rosita thinks she’ll never speak normal, but Big Bird says he likes her voice, but Rosita still thinks it’s different and decides to never speak again.

The Birdketeers arrive and Big Bird breaks the bad news to them that Rosita isn’t going to sing with them. Despite them all appreciating her voice she still stays silent. Big Bird thinks that if they sing, she’ll join in, but it doesn’t work.

Rosita runs off with Big Bird following her. They meet up with Gabi and Miles and he tells them all about what happened. They sing “Music of the Street” to show her that the street is full of different voices. Rosita finally speaks after a “compliment” from Oscar.

The two kids come back, finding the way she says it cool now and find it cooler when they learn she speaks Spanish. She teaches them the word “paloma”, which turns out to be the Spanish word for “pigeons”.
