Big Bird writes a fairy tale about a penguin who can sing beautifully. The king (Alan) wishes to hear the penguin's beautiful song, and instructs his royal helpers (Telly Monster, Baby Bear, and Zoe) to bring the penguin to him. However, the penguin refuses to sing for an unknown reason. That's as far as Big Bird had gotten when everyone came to hear the story, so the others try to come up with endings for the story. Telly comes up with the idea that the royal tuba player plays a catchy tune on his tuba that makes the penguin want to sing along to. Baby Bear comes up with the idea that the royal porridge eater plays his bongo drums made from empty porridge containers that makes the penguin want to sing along to. Zoe comes up with the idea that the royal dancer dances to a catchy tune that makes the penguin want to sing along to. Unable to decide on which ending to use, Big Bird decides to combine all of their ideas, plus add a little idea of his own. The story ends with the royal tuba player playing his tuba, the royal porridge eater playing his porridge box bongo drums, the royal dancer dancing, and the royal la-laer (Big Bird) la-laing, thus tempting the penguin to sing along, which makes the king happy. | ||
