Cookies keep getting stolen on Sesame Street, and everybody accuses Cookie Monster of stealing the cookies, but the thief ends up being Cookie Hood, who steals cookies from people with too many, and gives cookies to those who don't have enough cookies. However, Cookie Hood soon learns that taking cookies without asking is stealing, so he buys cookies for those he stole from. Later. the two monsters sing about the different ways to say "cookie" all over the world.
