Picture Segment Description
Big Bird welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street. Big Bird mentions that he has a chicken to talk to on Sesame Street and then the chicken slides right up next to Big Bird. Big Bird tells the chicken a chicken joke "Why did the chicken cross the playground? To get to the other slide!". The chicken then tells Big Bird a joke "Why did the chicken come to Sesame Street? To dance the Clucky Clucky Chicken!". Then the Chicken, an Anything Muppet, The Kids, and Big Bird all dance to the first verse and chorus of the song. Then some monsters appear on screen chanting "It's monster time! Monster time! Monster time!". Leading to the next segment...
Monster Clubhouse: The monsters read the previous meeting's minutes and dance the Honk Your Nose, Touch Your Toes, Spin Around And Strike A Pose Dance. After naptime, the Snack of the Day is a huge salami sandwich. A Lavender Anything Muppet, voiced by Jerry Nelson, arrives looking for the Club for People Who Like To Pretend They're Seagulls. The Furry Feeling of the Day is Angry. After another naptime, the gang gets chased by an elephant. In the mail, a girl wants to know "How do monsters hug?".

Zoe and Rosita are playing Hide and Seek with Rocco, Zoe's pet rock. Zoe and Rosita hide from Rocco and when they return he is missing! They discover that he is under Mrs. Chicken who mistakes him for her egg. When they get Rocco back, Mrs. Chicken and Rocco are very sad, so Zoe lets Mrs. Chicken sit on Rocco again.

Cookie Monster asks The Amazing Mumford to make the cookie with the letter of the day disappear so that he can't eat it. Mumford tries and fails to make the cookie disappear, but Cookie Monster figures out a way to do it...
