As the episode opens, the cast is in the midst of fixing Big Bird's nest area. We pan over to Big Bird, who explains the occurrences of the preceding days.

To be prepared for future hurricanes, Telly wears a raincoat, carries all sorts of equipment on him, and has devised an "early-warning system" whereby a hurricane is anticipated whenever his pinwheel turns. Gina is skeptical.
