Stinky the Stinkweed is tired of always being the "little" example when people talk about big and little. Gordon offers to help by showing him things that are smaller than him. Stinky thinks he sees something smaller, but it turns out to be the tip of the Elephant's tail. The Kids bring Stinky some small objects -- a rock, a ball, and a toothbrush.

But Stinky still wishes that he were bigger, and his wishes are answered by the Fairy Godplant (Ruth Buzzi), the patron spirit of plants. Checking her fairy spellbook, she casts a spell on Stinky that causes him to grow to an enormous size. Stinky is thrilled, but soon he realizes that he can't live on Gordon's windowsill anymore. The Fairy Godplant returns, and shrinks Stinky back to his original size.

• Elmo convinces Whoopi Goldberg to play a drum while he plays his violin; they play "Somebody Come and Play" together.
• Super Grover asks Baby Natasha, as Super Baby, to help him demonstrate big and little. But Super Baby won't sit still long enough -- she keeps flying around, and ends up crash-landing on his head.
