SCENE 1
Ernie welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street, and walks into the Fix-it Shop to promote his new "instant poetry service" to Luis. The way it works is, Ernie will make up a poem on the spot about everything that happens on Sesame Street. Luis tells Ernie about his day so far: he finished fixing Gordon's tape recorder, got Gabi's shoes re-souled, and stubbed his toe while rushing to the phone. To Luis' surprise, Ernie comes up with a small poem for all of those things! "I think it's the hat," Ernie remarks.
