SCENE 1
Gordon welcomes the viewer as Telly shares a joke with him, Elmo and Zoe. Suddenly, an Alphabet Explorer appears. He is in search of the rare Dotted Dinging D, who's native habitat is the wilds of Sesame Street. The monsters offer their services and are made Jr. Alphabet Explorers. They split up and look for the D. Gordon tries to tell the explorer Sesame Street isn't a wild place, just as a crocodile shows up to wrestle with the explorer.

The monsters have some safari gear and have adopted Australian accents. A Letter D dances from behind a bush, but it's not the Dotted Dinging D; it's the Dancing Drumming D. The letter invites them to dance with him.

Telly sets out a D-coy to catch the D. He leaves a decorative dish out with a donut and danish, but he feels he needs one more big thing. Just then, Linda exits Gina's office after Barkley's check-up. Linda, however, needs to take him home to be fed. Barkley has then devoured the donut and danish, so Linda takes him to get some dog food. Gina suggests they make the D sound to lure the D.

The monsters are tiring of making the D sound, when Telly hears some dinging. The Spotted Dinging D answers their call and they get the Alphabet Explorer to see. Now that he has found the letter, he's ready to find the next rare letter - the Egg-Eating E, but suggests they admire for a short while...whilst he wrestles the crocodile again. Elmo dashes off to feed Dorothy.
