Baby Bear gets the hiccups, and can't shake them. Everyone pitches in to try to help: Telly scares Baby Bear, Alan sings a hiccup song, and the Elephant suggests watching a film about elephants. Nothing works. Big Bird teaches Baby Bear Granny Bird's sure-fire hiccup cure, which is to chirp them away. He and the Birdketeers teach Baby Bear to chirp, but he's still hiccuping. Oscar's suggestion is for Telly and Baby Bear to scram.
Baby Bear and Telly visit Gina for advice, but she's busy with a patient -- Elizabeth's cat, Little Murray Sparkles. Baby Bear is so distracted petting the cat that his hiccups go away.
