Picture Segment Description

Big Bird welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street. He says today is a special day because it is Nursery Rhyme Day on Sesame Street. Big Bird tells that the first nursery rhyme is, Hickory Dickory Dock, but Telly isn't ready and was reading a book called How to be a Mouse. So Big Bird goes to the next nursery rhyme, Jack and Jill, which stars Slimey and Glo Worm. They begun to start climbing the hill, but it takes them a slow time for them to get up the hill.

In an homage to the musical cartoons of the 1930's, Cab Callowmouse hosts the "Mother Goose Jamboree" at night in a bookstore.

Big Bird goes on to the next nursery rhyme, Little Miss Muffet. Zoe plays Little Miss Muffet and Baby Bear plays the spider. At first Zoe didn't want to play Miss Muffet because she never had curds and whey before. Big Bird suggested to Zoe to try the food, but Baby Bear told Zoe that she doesn't have to try it since he is going to scared her away and he would get to eat the curds and whey. When they begin the nursery rhyme, Zoe didn't run away from Baby Bear because she try the curds and whey and likes it. She stayed and kept on eating as Baby Bear tries to scared her. At the other nursery rhymes, Telly is still busy reading the book and the worms were climbing up the hill still.

Super Grover says that he's going to fly up into the air and point to the letter of the day. He begins by getting a runing start, but only propels himself sideways, hurting himself inthe process. Leaning on the brick wall for support, he thinks maybe he will forget the flying part and just do the pointing part.

At that moment, Baby Bear calls Big Bird and says he is ready to performed Little Miss Muffet rhyme again. This time with the kids now dressed as spiders, they tried to scared Zoe, but Zoe finds them funny and not scary. She continues to eat the curds and whey as Baby Bear and the kids tried to scared her.

Telly now calls Big Bird and says he found a way to get up the clock. Telly gets on his pogo stick and begins to jump up to the top of the clock, but then falls off after he made it. Big Bird becomes unhappy because the nursery rhymes aren't fitting together except for one which is Jack and Jill, but the worms are still climbing up the hill.

Big Bird changes the nursery rhymes to make it a happy ending. The spiders had their own individual bowls of curds and whey and eats them. Little Muffet went for a ride on Hickery Dickery Dock Mouse's pogo stick and Jack and Jill climbs up the clock instead of the hill. Big Bird is happy that he is able to tell a nursery rhyme that works out well.
