In their story, the three main characters live with their mother (Telly), who tells them to go out and build their own homes. The bear builds his house out of straw, the monster builds his out of sticks, and Elmo uses bricks for his house.

When it's time for Stinky to say his line, he hyperventilates at first, then weakly says his line, and everyone applauds him. He likes the attention so much that he repeats his line several times throughout the play.
Back in the story, the wolf brothers blow the three houses down, and two of the houses go down, except for the brick one.
