SCENE 1 Baby Bear excitedly reports that his Papa Bear has just made a wonderful new invention - the Perpetual Porridge Machine, which makes bowls of porridge instantly. Today, they'll be debuting it at Hooper's Store. Papa Bear shows his son and Alan how the machine works - press the big, shiny button to activate and soon, fresh bowls of porridge come out. The first bowl comes out and Baby Bear finds it tasty. Papa Bear goes off to work on another invention, leaving Baby Bear to continue taste-testing.

SCENE 2 Alan leaves a message for Papa Bear on the phone, asking how to turn the machine off. As the machine churns out another bowl, Mr. Johnson comes in for a glass of milk. Alan and Baby Bear encourage him to try some porridge as well (so they can get rid of it), even offering a "two-for-one" special. "Eat porridge with a friend," Baby Bear suggests. Mr. Johnson likes the idea and goes off to find his friend Myrna (who has already made her way to the Bronx). Baby Bear offers to eat some more as the machine releases two more bowls.

Jordan and Bruce Connelly) show up to the store, ready to eat.

Papa Bear arrives to see the commotion and shows them how to shut the machine off: just yell "That's enough porridge!" The machine deactivates at last. There's one bowl left, which they give to Papa Bear (who claims he'll need the strength to carry that thing home).
