SCENE 1 Gordon sits on the stoop, reading his newspaper and sees a bunch of kids and monsters running by, chanting “X!”. Telly and Baby Bear rush in and fix themselves up so they can introduce “The Sesame Street World of Sports”, which is covering today’s “X Games”, the event where letter x’s come from all over the globe to play games. They are then joined by a group of screaming, female X’s and tell the viewer to stay tuned for more “X Games” action!

Big Bird places the X on the skateboard, and soon becomes dizzy and nauseous and wants to come down.

They watch the Tag-Team, the Hide and Seek Team the Big Bird’s little X practicing on the skateboard. He falls off the board and Big Bird tells the reporters he’ll need more practice. Telly and Baby Bear get choked up at the sight of all the letter X’s doing their best then sign off and head for lunch.

SCENE 5 cont’d Big Bird continues training the X, who’s not nervous about being on the board anymore and is ready for the next step in his training, which is to begin to move the board. However, his legs are not long enough to reach to box underneath, but Big Bird is sure they’ll find a way he can do it. They overhear two X’s talking about how helping others is the best part of the X Games, which gives Big Bird an idea to push the X along. They try it and he’s able to ride! But, he becomes dizzy again at the mention of being in front of TV cameras.
