SCENE 5 Baby Bear shows up by the bulletin board, wearing a pink monster costume, thinking the monsters will let him participate in the sing-along if they think he's a monster. Papa Bear notices this, and gives his son a moving speech: "You shouldn't have to pretend to be something you're not just to be included. You're a bear, and you should be proud to be a bear, no matter what. So, if someone doesn't want to play with you because you're a bear, well, that's their bad luck, because you are one fine bear to play with." Baby Bear agrees with this, and decides that it's better to be himself.
