	SCENE 1	While Maria is working at the Fix-It Shop, and Gabi stays over with a friend, Luis plans to cook Maria's favorite Tex-Mex meal, huevos rancheros (rancher's eggs) as a surprise. Big Bird, Baby Bear, and Rosita want to help, but Luis discovers he needs three tomatoes and one hot pepper, so Big Bird offers to get them at Hooper's Store.
	Animation	Luxo Jr. examines a box. A smaller lamp pops out of the box, demonstrating "surprise." (EKA: Episode 2861)
	Muppets	A baby Honker hatches from an egg and learns to honk like all the Honkers. (EKA: Episode 1706)

	Cartoon	Two girls sing a reggae rendition of the alphabet. (EKA: Episode 3269)
	SCENE 2	Big Bird arrives at Hooper's Store and asks Alan for the tomatoes and pepper. Maria runs into them, and is reminded of when Luis used to make huevos rancheros for her. Big Bird is careful not to spoil the surprise.

	Muppets	Waiter Grover: Mr. Johnson wants a hamburger, but Grover strongly suggests that he order the tomato surprise instead. Mr. Johnson relents and asks for the tomato surprise, only to find that it means a giant, talking tomato will be dining with him. Surprise! (EKA: Episode 3756)
	Cartoon	In a classic painting, a boy blows a bubble. It pops, and some kids yell "Surprise!" (EKA: Episode 3311)
	SCENE 4	Rosita arrives at the Fix-It Shop and takes the ingredients from Big Bird, but before she can get them back to Luis, Maria asks her to stay and help with the toaster repair.

	SCENE 5	Baby Bear and Luis finish setting the table. Luis calls Alan at Hooper's, and that's how they find out where Big Bird and Rosita are. Baby Bear leaves to fetch them - it's a bear's job.

	SCENE 6	Rosita and Big Bird are still helping Maria at the Fix-it Shop. Baby Bear arrives, and tells Maria that her shoe is untied (so she'll look down while he gets the ingredients), but she's wearing boots. Then he pretends to be sad that Rosita and Big Bird working because he's lonely, so Maria lets them go - but Rosita forgot the ingredients because she thought Baby Bear was serious about wanting to play tag with them. Baby Bear quickly goes back and snatches the bag.
