Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 Telly Monster is waiting for Baby Bear because they are have an all day play date as he welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street. While at Hooper's Store, Alan says bye to Bob and Barkley. Telly wants to be a dog but Bob tries to tell him being a dog is very hard.
Cartoon A dog tries desperately to meow, but can only bark.

SCENE 2 Telly Dog and Barkley snuggle and bark. After that, Barkley and Bob leave to go home. Baby Bear comes and doesn't understand why he is a dog. Baby Bear wants to play in the play date they planned that day. Telly Monster tells he can be his dog. Baby Bear tells him that he will have to know how to take care of a dog to have one.
Film The McDoubles (Batty and Crooky) count to 10 on their fingers.

SCENE 4 Two women are sitting in Hooper's Store help Alan, and Baby Bear find out what Telly Dog wants to eat. He points at strawberries. Alan thinks it is strawberries but Telly Dog says no. He is cold, ice, and strawberries.

SCENE 4 cont'd "Strawberry Ice cream" say both women. Alan gets the ice cream ready but Telly Dog can't eat it until he is Telly Monster again. Telly Dog is sad but Alan tells him that he had a dog once. If he wanted to eat something, he would put it near him for him to eat so Telly Dog does it. Then a cat is running away from Barkley, followed by Bob so Telly Dog runs too. Baby Bear with the ice cream runs behind them all.
