Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Luis, Miles, the Count, Barkley, and Oscar have all gathered around to hear the story that Telly has just finished writing. Luis mentions today's sponsors, and lets Telly read the story, which is titled The Cave Monster Who Wanted a Pet.

At the beginning of the story, which takes place in the cro-magnon era, a cave-monster named Brog (Telly) is sad because he doesn't have a pet. He approaches a cave-boy named Glog (Miles), who has a pet rock named "Bouncy" because it bounces like a ball. Glog is also sad because he sees some kids playing Basket-banana, and thinks they won't let him play with them. Brog convinces him to go and ask them, so he does, and they have fun throwing Glog's bouncy rock into the basket. Glog offers to do something for Brog in return, but doesn't know where to get another bouncy rock, so Brog goes on his way.
Telly has just finished reading chapter one of the story. Everyone liked it, including Oscar, who likes boring stories.
