	SCENE 1	Baby Bear welcomes the viewer as Telly and Elmo rush over to him with a book prepared to read today. However, Telly’s choice of story, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”, brings up bad memories for Baby Bear. They try naming different parts of the story he may like to hear, but each mention makes him angrier and angrier until he runs off in a huff. Telly thinks the only way to make Baby Bear feel better is to read a different story.
	Cartoon	In an homage to the musical cartoons of the 1930s, Cab Callowmouse hosts the "Mother Goose Jamboree" at night in a bookstore. (First: Episode 3653)

	SCENE 2	Telly and Elmo return, promising to never read the book again. Instead, they have a story they wrote themselves – “Baby Bear and the Three Goldilocks.” Baby Bear thinks that three Goldilocks will make him finally snap, until he learns that the roles are reversed, meaning that he gets to invade her house. Ready to let the revenge begin, he asks Telly to start reading…
	SCENE 2 cont’d	In the story, the three Goldilocks enjoy their morning bagels, when they find they’ve run out of cream cheese. After they’ve left to get some more, Baby Bear enters their house. He spies the bagels and tastes a sample of each, finding each of them are “just right” and he devours them all.
	SCENE 2 cont’d	Baby Bear is loving the how the story’s coming along and asks them to read more.

	SCENE 3	Wondering what he’ll do next, Baby Bear asks Telly to proceed with the story.
	SCENE 3 cont’d	Baby Bear finds the Goldilocks’ football helmets. As he tries each on, he finds they don’t fit right and ends up breaking them. He finally choose one that fits and begins pretending to play football, and crashes into the wall, breaking that helmet too.
	SCENE 3 cont’d	Telly continues to read that the three Goldilocks are on their way back home. Baby Bear suddenly leaves.

	SCENE 4	They catch up to Baby Bear to see what’s wrong. He expresses his dislike for conflict in stories and doesn’t approve of Goldilocks being mad at him. He then gives a speech about wanting a new kind of story, where everyone plays nice and no one’s feelings are hurt. Telly and Elmo agree and think Baby Bear should make up the ending for the story.
	SCENE 4 cont’d	In the new version, Baby Bear decides to write a note of apology. While he’s writing it, the three Goldilocks arrive home and find the trouble he’s caused. They begin to give him a nasty stare.
	SCENE 4 cont’d	Telly and Elmo are now indulged in what happens next, but Baby Bear is still stuck on the ending.

	SCENE 5	Baby Bear concludes the story. When the Goldilocks begin to gang up on him, he has them read his note. The note details his apology and says he will take their helmets to the Fix-It Shop and buy them some bagels. They Goldilocks forgive him and they all dig into some bagels.
	SCENE 5 cont’d	They all agree the ending was terrific and head to Hooper's Store for some bagels. Goldilocks announces the sponsors.
	COMING SOON	Coming soon on Sesame Street: Zoe’s Fairy Dogperson sings a magic spell that turns her into a dog, much to Bob’s shock.
