Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 All seems like a normal day on Sesame Street, when an announcer (Martin P. Robinson) introduces the hit egg show, All About Eggs, hosted by Big Bird and Mr. Snuffleupagus. The two tease what will be seen on today's program and instruct the audience to shout "EGGS" when their sign begins flashing. Big Bird also displays a picture of the (big) egg he was hatched from. To kick off the show, they present the letter E, the first letter of the word "EGGS."

SCENE 2 All About Eggs returns with their egg-citing guest: Farmer Fred and his chicken, who will lay an egg live on the show. Fred instead brings his cow, who struggles to lay an egg. Big Bird points out the mistake and the farmer takes the cow away, only to return with a sheep. He finally brings in a chicken (Henrietta), who lays an egg, then must leave to tend to another egg of hers. She allows them broadcast the hatching live on the show.

SCENE 3 Big Bird and Snuffy check in on the feed from the farm, where Henrietta's egg hasn't hatched yet. Back on the street, Big Bird segues to their next guest - famous nursery rhyme egg Humpty Dumpty, who sits on their desk instead of the provided chair (he thinks he'll be more visible). He explains following his tragic accident, a doctor repaired him and now, his nursery rhyme is about him sitting on the floor where it's safe. The crowd cheers and Humpty bows, falling off the desk and smashing.
Cartoon Name That Sound: identify animal sounds.
(EKA: Episode 3611)

SCENE 4 Farmer Fred and Henrietta return to the street, where the egg still hasn't hatched. She states it hatches fine in the farm environment, so they bring in the cow and sheep and imitate other farm animals. The egg finally hatches, as the chick starts imitating the other animals. The announcer recites the show's sponsors.
