Picture Segment Description

COLD OPEN Baby Bear and his fellow Bear Scouts introduces the sponsors for today. Telly rushes in to add that we'll also be seeing him join the Bear Scouts. He gets rattled when their leader, the boisterous Papa Bear, comes to start their meeting.
SCENE 1 First on the Bear Scout agenda is to say the pledge. Telly doesn't know it, and doesn't have a hat to hold over his heart. Everyone recites it first and Papa Bear lets Telly borrow his hat.
SCENE 2 Next, Telly watches as the scouts demonstrate how to put their dollies back together before they can finish counting to 40. Telly wonders why they would ever need to repair their dolls, when Papa Bear demonstrates - it always comes apart when they give it the Bear Scout Dolly Hug.
SCENE 3 The scouts gather in the "G Garden," named such because it grows letter Gs, one of which Telly is able to coax into growing.

SCENE 4 Before Telly can earn his Bear Scout hat, he must perform a good dead for the community and everyone must witness it. They head off and Telly talks to Ruthie, who says she's about to clean her casa. Telly sees this as the perfect opportunity and rushes off to get the scouts. While he's gone, Ruthie cleans her casa, as in her decorative version of the word, preventing Telly from his good deed.
SCENE 5 Telly comes by a Birdketeer meeting, where Big Bird says they'll be reciting the alphabet. Seeing another opportunity, Telly runs off, but they all recite the alphabet while he's gone.

SCENE 6 Telly moans he'll never find a good deed. Papa Bear tries to comfort him, but realizes it must be his fault and deems himself a failure as a scout master. Telly assures him he's a great scout master, which turns out to be his good deed! Telly finally earns his Bear Scout hat, and Ruthie and Savion announce the sponsors.
