SCENE 2 Telly wonders how to keep the truck safe. He doesn't have a penny to buy it (or even pockets), so he hides it under a blanket. Prairie, put in charge of the outside table, inspects the items. She sees the blanket and has it removed, since it doesn't start with P.

(First: Episode 2889)

SCENE 4 Ruthie wonders why no one has come to the sale yet. Telly hopes this means she'll call it off, but Prairie proposes they perform a pageant. Ruthie doesn't think they have the time, but instead goes for Prairie's suggestion to perform a song. The song works, as customers flock to the store.

SCENE 5 Every item has been purchased, except for the peanut truck (to Telly's delight). Ruthie rewards Prairie for her work by paying her a penny. Prairie uses it to buy the peanut truck, so that every single item will have been bought. Telly breaks down, explaining his feelings about the truck and not wanting it to be sold. Prairie recognizes all the help he's been today and gives him the truck as a present. Prairie then points out the sponsors, then follows Ruthie and Telly to a P Sale party at Hooper's Store.
