She asks him to read it, but he recommends they take it back to Hooper's Store. Zoe doesn't understand how that works, so Carlo brings her to the front desk. She observes Lexine and Carlo using their library cards to take out books, inspiring Zoe to get one too. Linda prepares one for her and all she needs to do is write her name on it. Zoe can't write her name yet, so Carlo brings her back to the store to practice.
